Nasir El-rufai, the Interim Deputy National Secretary of the All
Progressives Congress (APC), was asked by the State Security Service
(SSS) to explain comments he allegedly made in a national newspaper
yesterday.
El-Rufai
reportedly told the publication that: “The next election is likely to
be violent and many people are likely going to die. And the only
alternative left to get power is to take it by force; this is the
reality on the ground.”
The SSS summoned the former FCT Minister to its Abuja headquarters today in order for him to clarify his statements.
