Abuja Celebrates Crime-Free Holidays

The capital city celebrated Christmas and New Year free from any reported crime or insecurity, according to Police.

The Federal Capital Territory’s Police Public Relations Officer, Altine Daniel said the city remained safe and incident-free throughout the Yuletide period.

“Things are going on well, we have not recorded any incident so far,” she said. 

 Kayode Fanola, the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) Sector Commander in the FCT said that only two non-fatal road accidents were recorded in Abuja on Christmas day, one occurred on the Kubwa expressway and the other was on the Nyanya highway.
