The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Sen. Bala Mohammad has called on Muslim faithful across the country to embrace the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The minister made the call in a message made available to THISDAY in Bauchi, to commemorate the Eid-el Maulud celebration. He advised Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the life of Prophet Mohammed and to imbibe his teachings, which are primarily premised on selflessness, sacrifice, patience, modesty and spirituality.
The minister also urged residents of the FCT, irrespective of their religious beliefs or political inclination, to continue to live in peace and harmony with one another in order to move the country to the next level.
He also called for prayers for Nigeria and its leaders.
