Cubana Club Manager Attacked Days after Resignation

Uyi Ogbebor, the popular manager of Cubana Club in Abuja, was attacked at Wuse 2 on Friday morning, days after he resigned from the club.

Unknown gunmen in two Range Rover cars reportedly fired shots at Mr Ogbebor’s BMW, but upon noting that the car was bullet-proofed, the shooters sped off, leaving confused motorists in their wake.
The ex-club manager, who has business interests in other clubs around the capital including Grotto and Klub Vaniti, had quit from Cubana days earlier following disagreements with his business partner.
But he told journalists that the drive-by shooting was unconnected to his resignation.
“They could be some people trying to snatch my car or something,” he said
