The Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) has asked the Karu market relocation committee to liaise with traders in the market in order to adequately address their needs and to further expand the scale of business activities in the market.
The Chairman of the council, Hon. Micah Jiba, made the appeal yesterday in Abuja while addressing the committee, and Hon. Ojo Olumayowa, the councillor for special duties urged members of the Karu market relocation committee to come up with a workable framework to ensure that market’s traders are able to continue in their businesses.
He added that the focus of the committee should be on the welfare of the traders already doing business in the market as they are the life wire of the community.
He assured that his administration will not relent in satisfying the needs of the people at all times.
