The
Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Joseph Mbu,
has assured delegates to the National Conference of their security
while in Abuja.
Mr
Mbu gave the assurance yesterday while flagging off the ‘operation
clean-up Abuja’ at Area 1 roundabout. He said delegates have nothing to
worry about, as the Federal Capital Territory is safe for the peaceful
hosting of the conference.
He
noted that the minister of the FCT and the permanent secretary had also
been there to ensure that the place is safe and secure.
He
promised to rid the city of all social menace, in accordance with the
FCT minister, Senator Bala Mohammed’s directive to arrest and prosecute
any defaulter, adding that the FCT Administration has provided the
needed support to the security agencies to do their job properly.
